With the Draft coming up June 23rd i've been looking at the projected draft picks.
1st pick Kyrie Erving looks like a big prospect saw him play with kentucky (yeah im a UK fan) and he was just tearing it up in his first year!, too bad he got injury early on but looked like he bounced back well. Good pick for cleveland aswell considering they lost there scoring threat Lebron James to Miami they need some sort of a big player because they never really got going without Lebron. Obviously no one cane replace Lebron but he's young with great potential and his future looks bright and its good he's going to a team like Cleveland where he's looking at getting alot of playing time.
Kemba Walker stands out aswell had a big maui tournament beasting it and really impressed me. His game winning shot at the tournament was even more testemony to how big a player he is. Although his size may hinder him being 5"11 without shoes on and a wingspan of 6"3 he's small for a guard even smaller than Johnny Flynn who's wingspan is 6"5. Also being only 184 pounds he isn't exactly a big guard, but he is extremey quick and has springs on his shoes with a 39.5 inch vertical i think he can play with the pro's.
Finally a little mention on Jimmer Fredette, This guys got range serious range. He's big aswell he looks big enough to bang with the pro's and he's certainly got the skills the only thig that standsout to me about him physically is he doesn't come across as being that fast compared to most guards and tht could hinder his draft stock.
What do you think? Kemba Walker underated?
